Is this a full skincare routine?

No — it's a targeted pro-age trio designed to layer onto the cleanser you already use. There's no cleanser or SPF in the bundle — and SPF is essential with this routine (see below).

Do I need SPF with this? Really?

Yes — every day, without exception. Vitamin C works best under sun protection, and retinoids make skin more sun-sensitive. Using this routine without daily SPF undoes the results and risks irritation. SPF is not included; use a broad-spectrum SPF each morning.

When do I use each product?

Vitamin C in the morning (defence and brightness), Superstar retinoid at night only (renewal). Hydrate morning and night.

Is the retinoid strong or harsh?

It's beginner-strength — 0.2% Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, a gentler next-generation retinoid in a nourishing oil base. Start 2–3 nights a week and build up as your skin adjusts.

Can I use the vitamin C and retinoid together?

Use them at different times of day, as directed — vitamin C AM, retinoid PM. Don't layer them in the same step.

Why do I shake the vitamin C serum?

It's a dual-phase (water + oil) formula; shaking combines the brightening and nourishing phases just before use.

Can I use this if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

Retinoids are generally avoided in pregnancy — consult your doctor before using Superstar. The vitamin C and moisturiser are typically fine, but check with your clinician.

Is it fragranced?

The Vitamin C serum is fragrance-free; Superstar is unfragranced with a natural earthy scent from its seed oils; Hydrate has a light, fresh citrus note.

When will I see results?

Brightness and hydration show early; smoother texture, softened fine lines and firmer-looking skin build over 8–12 weeks of consistent night-time retinoid use.

Can I use Superstar around my eyes?

Avoid the immediate eye and lip area. For the delicate under-eye, a dedicated eye product is gentler.
